I'm pretty sure this is a chain. We have a Fado here in Chicago. It's a fun place with pretty good irish food. Don't know anything about the Irish session.

The one in Denver has what they call "Irish Session" on Monday nights. According to the website, people play traditional Irish music. It sounds like fun. My DH is Irish...his parents were born in Ireland.

Re: Fado Irish Pub in Denver
An Irish seisun (session in English) is just where traditional Irish music is played live. So they will probably have a couple of fiddlers, an accordion, tin whistle, bodhran, etc. It's a lot of fun.
I've been to the Fado in Chicago. I have to say as a first-generation Irish-American, I was impressed with Fado, considering it is a chain. The food was pretty authentic and the music was great.

That's great to hear. My husband is also a first-generation Irish-American.
My DH's grandfather played the Uilleann Pipe.
