Would you ever.... (Poll included)
try to look up how much a friend or relative paid for thier home? It is fairly simple to do now on the internet and I am just curious if a lot of people do this.
Personally, I have never but only because my friends have shared what they paid for thier homes with me. I have not shared what we paid for our house though and I am curious if any of them will try to look it up.
ETS - if they didnt tell me i dont think i would look it up! Just wanted to clarify that because my posting made it sound like I would.

I have looked up friends houses when they were selling them to see how much they were going for but I have no idea how to find out what someone has paid for their house!!

Oh thats a good point - I have looked up friends houses when they are selling too! I feel like somehow that is a little less invasive because everyone knows they are putting it out there for the world to see.....

I picked the occasionally option. Most of my friends are extremely open and share that information anyway. So, I haven't yet been in this position. I wouldn't feel guilty looking it up though. I've never been shy about sharing this information regarding myself either. I don't know if that's a good thing or not...I guess each to their own.
