Girls who were on BC to get "rid" of your cysts...

I am a nervous wreck....

After five years of surgeries and being on hormones and on the pill....

Ive been told that he wants me to stop the pill to see how my body will "react"...

I am scared to death...since a year ago I Was told ttc was out of the question, and now, it can be a "Maybe, 50/50 chance"....

Anyone get off the pill with ovarian cysts? Did they come back right away? I am so scared to get off of them, not concieve and start right back from scratch!!!

Thanks for your advice....

Do you have PCOS or some other problem causing ovarian cysts? Who is your RE? Is IVF an option for you?

I honestly wouldnt be able to afford IVF because i work for a catholic school which means they do not cover anything- they barely cover what i need now.

I have/had PCOS...and two years ago they did a procedure that they "sucked" out the cysts leaving me with scar tissue...

I am just freaking out that if i stop the pill, the cysts that are gone will come back full force...

thank u girls

I was on bc for pcos and multiple cysts for 8 years. After I got married I came off bc so we could ttc. I had the same problems on and off bc except that bc kept my periods on schedule. I had cysts burst both on and and off bc, I haven't seen any change really in the amount of cysts I get.

You should consider seeing a RE. You might be a candidate for Clomid with or withouth IUI as a first attempt to get PG. These things are not expensive compared to IVF.

Do you mean PCOS or actual cysts, because the term "PCOS" is actually a misnomer. The "cysts" in PCOS are underdevloped follicles, not cysts.
