New to this board *Update below*
After having 2 miscarriages I have my first appointment with Dr Braverman today. What should I expect on my first visit?

I don't go to Dr. B but most appts are usually the same.
He'll ask you a million questions (and DH if he's able to go too). They'll probably take blood and do an internal exam. He'll also probably order a bunch of testing for you. Then he'll go over your options with you. The 1st appt is kind of scary and intimidating, but I left there feeling hopeful!
I'm sorry for your losses and hope your appt goes well.

i am so sorry you have to be here and what you are going through 
welcome and best of luck with Dr. Braverman... you will adore him..
just bring a pad of paper with you .. its a lot to take in, and the consult will last about an hour.
he will go through everything with you .. your medical history..etc.. he covers every detail.. so you won't leave there scratching your head.. thats why he is so amazing!!
and bring your records if you have them!!

I am so sorry about your losses
you are going to LOVE Dr. B
he is very reassuring and you will be in good hands with him- be prepared to eventually get a lot of blood work, but it looks worse than it is.

No, it shouldn't be a problem
Bring a notebook and write things down, there will be alot of information and it will be easier to relay it to DH if it's written down.
You will love Dr. B, by the way, he is very funny.

Just got back from my appointment. I have to say I feel very comfortable with Dr B & his nurse Sandra. Dr B promised me I will get pregnant.
Next week starts all the tests. I have to have blood work on Monday. About 18 or so vials will be taken.
Tuesday is my HSG test to see if my tubes are ok because of my etopic pregnancy.
DH even got a nifty cup. 
This is going to be a long month.

So sorry for your losses, hopefully Dr B can help.
Like PP's said, it's a lot of questions and sometimes they do an exam and sometimes they wait until CD3.

Just wanted to say after 4 losses(1 definite ectopic, miscarriages who knows..) I now have twin boys via IVF with teh help of a Dr who does mostly what Dr B does. You WILL get pregnant and have a baby....or two
