Please help me make sense of this....
OK, this is my first month of Clomid. My regular Ob/gyn prescribed clomid, then estrogen, then progesterone for this cycle (I typically spot very early). So, once I started taking the estrogen I began to randomly spot. I never got a postive O reading on my CBEFM...but maybe that was because of all of the meds? I typically O on CD15. So, I had some thick brown blood (with a spot of red...TMI, sorry!) at CD20. It lasted for one day. Ever since (I am CD26 now), I have had light brown, watery spotting. Since I am on the oral progesterone (prometrium), do you think this is my period? I have continued the progesterone because I have no clue what is going on! I also had horrific cramps today, but they felt more like when I ovulate than period cramps. I know I probably need to call the doc, but I could use some calming words because this is all making me nuts!
TIA!!!!!!

Did you have sonos and bloodwork to check for ovulation? Did you take a trigger shot? Did you have an IUI or just BD?

I am going to be very blunt here, you should seriously consider seeing a RE. You deserve some answers and a doctor who can carefully monitor your cycle to figure out what is going on. Best of luck!

I am going to agree with this 150%
I unfortunately "wasted" 7 valuable months on Clomid w/ my gyn before moving onto an RE and regret every minute of it...I conceived my son 3 months after...Its very easy to feel "comfortable" but RE's really are the experts with these things...
Clomid can dry your CM, and your tubes really should also be checked ( HSG) amongst other things that an RE can test for you....Good Luck to you !!!!!

I agree. If you dr isn't monitoring you with blood and sonos, how can you really know what is going on?
Hope it turns out okay!

I agree as well. I think an RE would be much better suited to monitor you on all this medication you are on.

Re: Please help me make sense of this....
Thanks everyone for your input! I have had an HSG (polyps in my tubes, but not fully blocked). I have an RE appointment on the 10th...my gyno wanted to try one last ditch effort with a clomid cycle before I went to the RE.
Hopefully I will get some answers then. Thanks!
