Recc. a restaurant in NYC
I am looking for somewhere romantic, elegant but we dont somewhere with really fancy food. It's for our 5yr anniversary. american or italian style food. nothing quick either, we dont want to spend $200+ to be eating for only 1 hour, we like a good meal that is spaced our appropiately!!

Water's Edge it's in Long Island City but the view of NYC at night is breathtaking; great food and service too!

we have been celebrating our dating anniversary and every year we go to the four seasons restaurant!
We love it there, request a table by the pool, and make sure you tell them your celebrating your anniversary, they bring out champagne and pink cotton candy!
We always ask for Andy, he has been our server for six years now!
They are having a special prix fix for 59 a person here is the menu

Love this place. DH and I went for V-day about 5 years ago and then for our first "date" night after DS was born 2 years ago. ROmantic (request a table by the window) and the food is delicious. Also, they have a nice intimate bar to sit and have a drink before or after dinner. And when we went (not sure if it is still available) they have a boat that goes back and forth between the restaurant and NYC. You can get off on the other side, but we stayed on and just took a nice ride.

The Union Square Cafe is a great restaurant with amazing food. It is always on the zagat list for top 10 restaurants in the city.

Also the River Cafe in Brooklyn under the Brooklyn Bridge is visually one of the most romantic dining experience with excellent food. It has the best views of Manhattan!!! PLus there is so much to do in that area of Brooklyn- tha u can walk around before going to dinner. Look at the website the views are breathtaking! A lot of my friends either go there for special occasions & one got engaged there.
