berkley center for acupuncture
so a co-worker/friend of mind said she went here for acupuncture the month before she was supposed to do an ivf and she got pregnant on her own that month, she's over 40 and had been trying for a while, not sure of her other details
so i made an appt for tomorrow, they ask that you fill out a bunch of papers before you get there wow 16 pages of info very overwhelming, i did some of it, had to put it to the side to finish it later,
i will def post tomorrow and let you know how it went
but i was just wondering if anyone has experience with them, they are in manhattan

Re: berkley center for acupuncture
I only went there once. The appointment was kind of long because he went through all of my paperwork.
I didn't go back because I just didn't like acupuncture. It had nothing to do with the center, but I just didn't find it relaxing. I sometimes thought about giving it a second try, but never did.

Re: berkley center for acupuncture
I went to him for my first and successful IVF cycle. I went for my first visit the week I started stimming, 2 times the second week of stimming and twice on the day of transfer. Got my BFP less than a week later and went back for another treatment. Now I go twice a week for the next 10 weeks to help prevent MC, I'll be there this afternoon. I really like him and believe it helps. Good luck!

what time did you go, i was there at 1:00 he seems like a really nice guy and def spoke to me more than my RE ever did, i think i am going to go back but its gonna be hard since i live and work in brooklyn, but if its worth it at all i will do it,
question did you purchase one of the package deals i was thinking the middle one, also when you had the acupuncture the day of transfer did you go to his office just trying to think how that will work for me

Re: berkley center for acupuncture
I was just leaving a little before 1.
I didn't purchase a package in the beginning, but than did once i got my BFP because I knew I'd be going for the next 12 weeks, 2x a week. I got the $100 a session package. My insurance should cover 70% and they give you insurance forms for the full price- $125, so I should get most of it back, hopefully.
And my RE is in the city- I worked the day of my transfer so I went to acupuncture before work and than left work early for the transfer and took a cab from my RE right to acupuncture after the transfer. DH feel asleep in their waiting area he said it was so soothing, LOL. I almost always dose off during a session.
