Re: About your Fireplace

we use it for heat. We bought a insert for the fireplace and it really heats up the whole house.

Re: About your Fireplace

we have a wood fireplace that has front vents that should help the room stay a bit warm but nothing like the insert.

Re: About your Fireplace

ours is gas, but the heat goes into the house, so for the summer I plan to get candles to light.

Re: About your Fireplace

wood burning. there is a crack in the flue that we need to have fixed before we can use it, but it will be mostly for ambiance anyway. the placement of it in the house wont' really be conducive for heat.

Re: About your Fireplace

Our's has a wood burning insert that is being removed. We are running gas into the house for the fireplace and cooking. I would like a wood burning for heating purposes but opted for the gas for looks!
