are you journaling? drinking enough water? excersizing?

what do you wear to be weighed-in?
no jeans, i hope... do you take off all your jewelry and hair accessories?

here's my trick: i limit my sodium intake the 2 days before my weigh-in and also for the day of. i learned that after gaining 3 lbs in 1 week from having chinese food for dinner the night before and leftovers for lunch the day of....
no chinese, no mexican, no italian, no salty snacks, no soda, etc

I do the points on my own with the electronic calculator thingy. I think my problem is that I possibly don't eat enough. I always find myself always having a lot of points at the end of the day that I bank. I drink water, I weigh myself naked, I write down everything. I am exercising at home when I am not dead tired (maybe 1-2 times a week) Not even 1 stinkin pound?! I have to get back to the gym to workout. This at home crap is not motivating for me.

did you figure out the right amount of points to eat?

it might help to try out a meeting and speak to a ww leader for help.

You are not supposed to bank your daily points. if you dont eat your points for the day you lose them. Only activity points are banked until the end of the week, then you lose them if you dont use them.....

You should also eat half your points by 3pm...make sure you eat them ALL!! have a glass of milk if you have left overs, or a tablespoon of reduced fat PB.. something with nutritional value.

Are you filling your points with healthy foods?

I bought the calculator and plugged in how much I weigh and what I want to weigh.

Okay, I got on the scale this morning and it said I gained .5lbChat Icon Chat Icon

Here is what I ate yesterday:
Breakfast
- bowl of fiber1 with ff milk and 1/2 banana
- 2 slices weight watchers wheat toast with 2 tbsp rf peanut butter

Snack
necatarine

Lunch
salad with raw veggies and salsa
4 slices chicken breast cold cut
orange
Espresso lite frapp

Snack
weight watchers popcorn

Dinner
spinach with garlic salt
salad with fiber 1 on top no dressing
1 slice pizza
1/2 cup grapes
I drank 47oz water did not eat anything after 7pm and did not exercise (unless doing "the deed" counts

Maybe too much sodium???? Why would I gain?

Try cutting the sodium and also there may be too much carbs in there. The fiber one and the bread and then pizza crust and fiber one again. Cut down on cards a bit and add more protein. Also dont weigh yourself every day. Pick a time and day and do it the same time every week.

2 tablespoons of reduced fat pb is 4 points alone. Depending on the size of your banana.. 1/2 could be as much as 1.5 points. That means your breakfast could have been like 10 points...depending on the amount of milk and cereal.

Do you have the WW food scale? It changed my life honestly..lol Things I were counting as like 4 points, were really 6 after I used the scale. This morning I weighed a banana and it was 3 points... so I cut it in half...

I do not have a scale. I am allowed 25 points. Most days I have 4 or 5 points left so I made sure to eat all of them yesterday. I don't think it's too much carbs, sodium maybe. I always count banannas as 3 which is why I only eat 1/2. My cereal is mostly dry because I don't really like milk. I think I'll get a scale. I just find it odd not 1 stinking pound, seems odd.
Reaching here but... do you think my hormones could be out of wack from giving birth? I've never ever had such a hard time losing weight.

Where do I get a scale? Can I walk into a WW and purchase one?

on my calculator it asks at the end of the day if I want to bank any leftover points????Chat Icon

I thought you could save them for say like a weekend party or something when you knew you were gonna eat a bit more?

No, you lose your daily points if you don't use them, but you do get an extra 35 allowance points to use throughout the week however you want. You would use these points if you wanted to go out, etc. I try not to use more than 5-10 of these points per week.

One mistake I've seen many people make: Not following the good health guidelines. Are you eating all your fruits and veggies? Drinking enough water? Eating healthy oils?

Maybe try upping your workouts a bit more as well.

And def eat ALL your points!! Otherwise you wont lose!!
