curtains...
will thermal curtains also block light from coming in???
we want them to save on energy but also would like them to block out the bright sun in the morning so we can sleep

The quality ones will - I got some at BBB that we $40 per panel and they block light.
I also got a set at Christmas tree shop for $8 a panel and they do not.

I could our thermal curtains at JCPenny and they block out the sun, but there are also room darkening ones as well. Thermal curtains help in the summer and winter. Keeping the cold out and the heat in, in the Winter and keeping the hot sun heat out and the cooler air in for the Summer.
