If you have 2 dogs...
how do you have your dogs dishes 'set up'? I just got my puppy and older dog feeding at the same time but I don't know what to do with their dishes. Does anyone have a set up that works for both animals, doesn't take up a lot of space, and looks nice?
Also, can anyone rec'd a nice water bowl for indoors and out?
TIA!

Re: If you have 2 dogs...
we have those dog bowls that are set up higher but we don't use them right now. i have 3 dogs so i feed 2 of them in their crate and the 3rd outside of the crates (he doesn't have a crate cause he's king of the house well really, i just trust him and not the others) that way they don't eat each others food.

Re: If you have 2 dogs...
We free feed, and have one dish out all day. They take turns. It's on a placemat in the corner of the kitchen that has paw prints on it.
For water, we like those water jugs that have the big container on top and refill themselves as the water level goes down, so we only have to refill it once a day. They're made of hard plastic, so I think they would do fine outdoors, but we keep ours inside.

we had their food bowls in 2 different spots but they share a water bowl, which is next to one of their food dishes. my older dog is territorial with his food or will guard it so we kept his in a spot where people dont really walk

Re: If you have 2 dogs...
I have 2 chihuahuas and usually they both eat out of the same bowl at the same time, but ever since I switched them to new food, if one gets to the bowl faster, the other doesn't eat. So I have been feeding them in 2 seperate dishes
