Thigns to do in Atlantic City

DH and I are going down to AC Wednesday and Thursday. Totally last minute decision. My parents already had plans to go and we decided to join them. We have the hotel room, now we just need suggestions for things to do. I cannot gamble because we are bringing our 5 week old baby (yes, I must be crazy! )

I was thinking of enjoying the beach and hotel pool with my mom and the baby and also going to the outlets down there. DH will do a little gambling and drinking with my Dad, but other than that, what else can we do? We don't mind leaving the "strip" if needed as we'll have a car.

Ocean city, NJ is 20 min away, cape may is 30 min away.
Taj has a night club. SHowboat has the house of blues. Harrahs has a really fantastic pool as does Borgata.
WHere are you staying?
Ceasars has a shopping mall and outlets out front.

Ripley's believe it or not is right on the boardwalk, the outlets are right there but they are outdoors.

There's the Hamilton Mall which is about 15 minutes away. I haven't been there in a while and it was kind of small but they had a lot of good stores.

Thanks...we're staying off the boardwalk but my parents are staying in the Tropicana, so we'll be there a lot too if that helps any!

how's the pool at the Tropicana?
