Going to IUI's
so I've decided that after 17 months of trying that its time to move to IUI's and Dr. B was VERY supportive.
I'm having the medication delivered tonight and going next week for my sono.
Keeping my fingers crossed.
How is the whole IUI process?? I'm a little nervous.

Re: Going to IUI's
It's not bad at all....almost anticlimactic.
Besides being a little unromantic (asking hubby for sperm sample)...and having nausea from the meds...it's really neat seeing your folicles develop.
It's just the next step.
Good luck!

Re: Going to IUI's
The IUI processs is actually pretty simple and painfree. It's annoying to have to go for monitoring pretty often but aside from that....it IS pretty anticlimatic.
Good luck!

Re: Going to IUI's
It's nothing really. IMO opinion the most uncomfortable part is the speculum. I found that getting a routine PAP was much more uncomfortable than an IUI.
good luck!

agree with the ladies, the monitoring up to it is more annoying than anything. GL!

Re: Going to IUI's
It was pretty easy besides giving yourself shots (if you are doing a medicated one) which is pretty easy.
I had no side effects from anything and the actual IUI procedure took about 30 seconds ( I didn't feel a thing) and about 10 minutes of laying there afterwards.
Good Luck!!!
