Oh she is not. She knows Aunt Cathy loves her and I play with her all the time. That is so cute!!!!

She is a beauty, just simply gorgeous. I love her to bits. My dogs would love her too.
Oh Gosh no she wont even jump off the couch I have to pick her up and take her off and the beds too.. But.... If you look closely I am right behind her holding her and my neighbor took the picture.. She is such a good girl. I cant wait for her to start playing with the baby..

I did see someone behind her....she is just gorgeous and sweet. I WANT HER! LOL

I had to post this!!! I was cracking up when I saw these and I knew the pets board would appreciate it ..
Well the story is yes of course she is jealous she is not the only baby anymore.. She is really breaking my heart.. I try so hard to give her as much attention as I used to but that is so impossible because i carried her around all day every day.. she was ALWAYS sitting on my lap when i sat on the couch, she sleeps in my arms too.. I am breast feeding so I have that boppy pillow on my lap and I sware Lola is on one side and the baby on the other then we switch sides.. She sits on the floor sometimes and just stares at me for the whole time i am nursing and i could hear her saying "Mommy why did you do this to us" I am exhausted trying to make her feel better.. When people come over to visit they MUST play with her and say hello first or i wont let them hold the baby.. LOL I take them for walks together.. She is getting used to her.. At first she would not even look at her.. She refused to smell her or even go anyewhere near her.. Now she lickes her feet and smells her.. But she really stays away if I dont initiate the contact.. I kw this is going to get better and it already has but its taking forever!!! My DH just wrote a childrens book about this whole story .. The final draft is now written and they are shoping it to be published.. it talks about this whole thing and it has a very happy ending of course. I cant wait!! Thanks for asking

Oh wow, way to make a positive out of a negative! That's such a great idea about the book. You know so many other people go through this.
It must be so hard for you but you sound like you're doing the right thing. And having people greet Lola first is a pretty great idea too. I think she'll get used to it, find her place, and be happy.

It's amazing to me just how human like dogs are. How they understand, how they know about changes in the househould, how they get jealous etc.
The part where you said she wouldn't even look at the baby at first- that is so human like. Like a child who is jealous of the new baby brother or sister.
Animals really are amazing!
