Anyone that has been filmed, what should I wear?
Okay, so next Friday a production crew is coming to my lab to film for a National Geographic special. I'm actually the production assistant, but I may be on film explaining the work we do. Since it's a lab, we always wear casual clothes.
What is the most flattering thing for me to wear? I normally wear bold colors and prints but I know prints won't work for filming.
What colors/cuts/outfits will be the most flattering?
So normally I wear jeans and sweaters in the winter and capris and nice tops in the summer.

Re: Anyone that has been filmed, what should I wear?
i have not been filmed - but several of my colleagues have. our communications team has said:
-as pp said, do not wear white -stick to solid colors -blue, green, or blue greens are the best colors (but don't go excessively bright) -keep accessories simple (our old CEO wore a huge flower pin when being taped. it looked very good in person, but looked like a blob coming out from her chest on the tape). -if you know the background color that you may be filmed against, avoid that color (sounds like this may not be relevant if you are taping in action --- but often times my colleagues have a solid background behind them -- if so, you don't want to blend in)
HTH!
Very cool that National Geographic is taping in your lab! Have fun!
