This is probably the dumbest laundry question ever.....
If you have a white towel does it go in the towel load or whites load?

this is probably wrong b/c everyone else wrote that they put it in a white wash, but I put all my towels together and I have dark blue and ivory towels. I've never had any problems with it, nothing has ran onto the other color. I've always questioned myself though. Oh well...

I put my white towels in the towel load. Although, yesterday my DH got something on my white hand towel so I put it in the laundry with the white load with bleach.

We separate by color, not by type, so we don't do a "towel load". We do whites/lights, colors, and reds, so the towels would go in the appropriate color load.

Ditto. I wash light colored towels together. I don't put towels in with my regular clothes.

All of my towels are light colored. I wash them all together.
I never wash towels with clothes because they leave white fuzzies on the clothes.

We do the same for sheets...they get washed together, regardless of color.

My white towels get washed with all the other towels. But my maroon towels get washed with a load of darks. I've had them for 2 years and I'm still afraid they'll bleed.
