IVF transfer
How many embryos did you transfer? and why?
I'm having a hard time deciding between 1 or 2...

My Dr transferred 4. I guess bc of my age and for a better success rate. I was ok with her decision to do that and even happier it was successful the first cycle.
If I had to decide between 1 or 2 I would go with 2. I believe in being agressive with things and you have a better chance of it workin. Good Luck to you.

I would do two unless you are really sure you don't want twins. The rate for 2/2 taking isn't that great so there is no guarantee of any taking anyway.

this is my first ivf and my dr transferred 4, honestly i don't know why that many that was his recommendation, he said the chances of all 4 taking were slim,
i would do 2 to increase the chances of at least 1 taking

We transferred 2. We were going to transfer 2 or 3. On day 3, we only had 2 decent embryos so we transferred both.

Due to my age and my egg quality, we did a 3 day transfer and transferred 3.

We transferred two. ITA with pp that it depends on your age and IF issues. We did two with the hope that one would take and we knew that we would be ok with twins if they both took, which they did.
