So a cat apparently got hit by a car and is now laying dead on the people's lawn across the street from me. Who can I call to take it away bc I know the people probably wont even do anything with it (They're low-lifes like that) and if they did it would probably just be tossing it in the garbage. It breaks my heart to see it laying there everytime I look out my door. TIA!

I would call the Nassau or Suffolk SPCA. They will take care of it, or direct you to the right place.
