my PCOS victory!
After going off the pill and not having a normal period for a few months, I was diagnosed with PCOS. The doctor put me on 50mg of clomid and no ovulation. The next month we tried 100mg of clomid and I got my first ever smiley face on my OPK. Well 2 weeks after that I got my BFP!!! I'm currently 9 1/2 weeks and saw my little baby and heard the heartbeat!! So anyone with PCOS just stay positive, it WILL happen!!! I was lucky, we started trying in November, went on clomid in April, and May was our big month!!! Just wanted to share a success story.

Congrats! Can I ask how your dr. made the diagnosis of PCOS? Was it just that you were irregular after being off OCP, or were you always irregular? Were there other symptoms?

I had a blood test and it showed a slight hormone imbalance, but my thyroid and everything else was fine. He did an internal sonogram and it showed a few little cysts on my ovaries. Besides being irregular, i never had any other symptoms.
