For those that have been trying
I know many of you have been trying for a long time, and have not had an easy time. You all are very strong and unbelievable! My question to you though, before you started trying were you irregular or knew something could possiblely be wrong?

I thought I would have more problems getting TTC since I am older...and we hadn't used preventitive methods in a long time yet nothing happened....but we got preg. quickly once we put our minds to it.
Next time, it just has to STICK!!

I've always had regular periods, but had thought I was just "lucky". When my ex of 3 years and I broke up and he got his new gf pg 3 times in 6 months (schmuck!!) I started to really wonder.
When Dh and I had stopped using preventative measures and nothing happened I kind of knew...

In the past I had a "feeling" it wouldnt be easy...
Then I got PG at 22 on one try and thought WOW I was wrong...I lost that baby...
Then at 25 again, 1st try and PG..lost that one too.
SO then I figured well Im fertile mertyle....I will easily get PG, just have trouble "holding them" ...Well its 7 months since we started trying and we had plenty of times when we let "nature" happen and nothing...

I had irregular periods before I met DH. Once I met DH, I got AF like clockwork, and have ever since (1998). I thought it was a sign -- and that I would have no problem conceiving. After having unprotected sex since the month before our wedding (June 02), I figured there was something up when I didn't get pg. Turns out I have two blocked tubes. I have an appt. with an RE on Thursday and will decide at that point whether I'm willing to do IVF or if I will adopt. I hope you never are faced with that decision. Best of luck to you!
