My night...

Was def. an improvement...

We were slightly off sched. and as I posted in another thread...he ended up skipping his last bottle, and falling asleep... @ 10 he woke to finish that bottle, and went right back to sleep... (DH put him in the crib awake...he went right to sleep w/o making a peep)

He got around 2 for his usual "come get me cry" I let him go for afew minutes, then rolled over to DH and said.. "go give him his binky... maybe if he dosent see me then he wont expect to come in here.."

Sure enough he went right back down til about 530ish...(which prob wouldve even been later had DH not been making so much noise in the kitchen...

Anyways- I dont know if the other nights 2.5 hr crying episode made an impact, if not seeing me, did the trick, or if it was just a fluke... but im hoping we are falling back into our routine...

Any other tips/ suggestions??

Sandra and Calla... thanks for the advice... I always look for your posts, because it always helps so muchChat Icon

Don't really have any advice, but I am glad last night went better. The past few nights we have been off schedule as well and I hate it.

I'm so glad to hear he did better! It actually sounds like it went pretty well. Chat Icon

The other night's CIO probably did help, as I'm sure the earlier bedtime helped even more. The only other suggestion I would make is that if/when he gets up tonight, have your DH wait 5-10mins longer than he did last night before he goes in to give the binky, because you don't want him to get used to that either. I think it was smart and definitely helped to send him in instead of you going in.

Other than that - just keep it up!! Tonight should be even easier!! Chat Icon

ETA: I'm glad I could help!

Sounds to me like you are doing well! Sending in your husband was a great idea.
