did anyone close early?
we locked in our rate for 60 days which is 8/28/09 but our estimated closing date is 9/1/09.
our loan officer told us she would extend it for us at no charge if we needed because to lock in for 90 days would have been more expensive.
i would love to close early though so i don't have to worry about this, just curious what everyone's experiences were.

We would have closed early on the house we just sold had the buyers bank not pushed back the closing 1-2 weeks... we closed on June 30, which was the exact date we were told in April.
As long as the sellers don't push it back, and your bank is good to go, I see no reason it can't happen. 9/1 gives you almost 2 more full months.

As long as the sellers don't push it back, and your bank is good to go, I see no reason it can't happen. 9/1 gives you almost 2 more full months.
the only issue i foresee is if the sellers have problems closing on the house they are buying. hopefully that's not the case!
