We have a plan

I met with my RE today and went over all the tests. Everything for DH and I has come back fine, so we are classified as unexplained infertility. To me that makes me a little sad, but I also take it as meaning "I don't know". If there isn't an answer, that is what they call it. Since I am mid cycle- Oing this weekend- DH and I will finish it out just the two of us and then move on to IUI with clomid next cycle, if necessary . The dr. felt pretty confident that this would be good for us. He made us feel good that we should hopefully get PG with 1 or 2 tries. I pray that is the case. I left feeling 90% good and the 10% being angry with the question I am sure we all have, "Why me?!" It does get me mad that this is so hard for DH and I when everyone else around us got PG the easy old fashioned way. But I just have to remember what I read here on a post- whatever gets us to pregnancy and that beautiful baby in our arms is all that matters.

I was considered unexplained too with one doctor because all of the basic tests came back fine. However, once I sought more thorough assessment for blood clotting, immune issues, and genetic disorders, I found out the real reasons for my infertility. You might want to request more extensive testing before you move to IVF.

I have unexplained IF too. It's frustrating bc sometimes I wish I had some kind of "problem" so they would know what to do!
