Nike + users...
did you also buy the Nike sneakers with the slot for the sensor?
i just got the Nike + system, but i was hoping to avoid buying a new pair of $100 sneakers. i put the sensor in the bottom of my shoe and went for a run, and ouch! it hurts my foot. can i tape it to the side of my shoe or does it need to feel the impact of my step? is there any way to use it without the sneakers?
if you did end up buying the sneakers, which pair did you get? and did you order them online? i wouldn't even know where to go to buy them in person.
thanks!

I have this shoe pouch for mine. I only wear saucony for running so this works well.

I don't have the shoes- I wear Brooks. I slip the sensor just under the front laces (towards the toe box). Just make sure your laces are tight there and your shouldn't have any problems.
