No IUI this month
SO the RE asked me if I wanted to trigger again this month and I said no, I would use the OPK's (which have worked in the past) and go by that. She said OK, to call on Saturday if I hadn't peaked by then (my follie was already a 39 on Wed).
Well, needled to say, I never got a peak and went in Saturday morning. My egg had already dropped, but they did blood work and it did look like I had "just" O'd, so I went home and BD with DH.
But I have mucus issues (which Clomid just make worse) so I have absolutely no hope for this month.
I wish I knew why the OPK's didn't work, guess I will be triggering from now on.

I don't know who you are going to - but I've never heard of a follicle at 39 - and them not triggering...that is boderline cyst.
What cycle day where you?

Maybe the follie was a 19? I also have never heard of a 39.

Maybe the follie was a 19? I also have never heard of a 39.
I was CD10, I usually surge on CD12.
They told me I had one that was 39 and one that was 14, but the 14 never grew.
Last month I had a 35 and a 14. MAybe I am hearing them wrong or they are talking about something else, but this is what I am interpreting.

Hmmm I wonder bc I had a 28 last time and was told it was borderline too big to trigger.

I'm really sorry things didn't go your way this cycle. Trust me, I know what you're going through! I agree with PP that those sound like really big follies...I'd be asking about it next time you go in.

Ryan I'm so sorry you're going through this. I had something very similiar happen to me during my last IUI cycle.....one of my follies got to a 37.5
