What are you waiting for?
Just curious!
for us, it's a little bit financial but mostly because there are a few big trips we want to take. And i want to drink wine in Paris !!!!

Its a combo of wanting to have more money in the bank (though I know there's never "enough") and not being quite ready yet.

We have a combo of above. We are relocating out of state the end of this summer, I want to go to grad school, and DH just started a new job.

all the above, i am not ready even if I am 30, dh is not ready even though he is 37, we both want a house first, we both like our lifestyle now so basically it is not kid friendly.

For us, the main thing is being able to let go of our current lifestyle! As selfish as it may sound... we are having a hard time wrapping our heads around all of the changes that would occur. We like to sleep in on the weekends, we like to relax, we like to go on trips, we like to go out to dinner, etc. I know that once a little one comes into our lives, our focus will be different, but we're just enjoying our time alone together right now!

b/c we dont have a house yet
plus i think it would be smart to have 1 more year alone even after we purchase a home - b/c after kids there is no such thing as "just the two of us"

Same here . . . I just like our routine as of now.
Plus my sister is getting married next year and I would prefer to not be pregnant or have an infant for her wedding. After she gets married though we will revisit it.

We want a bigger place so we can have a nursery for the baby. We dont want to rent a 2BR so we want to save money for a house.
We decided it makes more sense to buy a single family house than to buy a condo. With a house you have more options including a higher resale and options to expand then house instead of selling.
It will take more time to save for that but it will be worth the wait to have that financial security while we raise our family.

I put other b/c it's really all of the above! We/I want to travel, I want a house (or at least something we own!), I would like to have a little more saved and it think more DH than I isn't ready yet! I'm hoping another year will help!!
