I love Costco, but have to admit, I joined because it was closer at the time I did and don't have a desire now to have 2 memberships.
Does BJ's have an optical center? That is one of the reasons I stayed with Costco - I get my contacts there, cheaper than anywhere else I have looked.

BJ's is closer to us, and Costco stopped carrying Pampers diapers, but BJ's still does.

We go to BJs, but I noticed sometimes they don't have items that Costco has (and not the Costco name products!)

I liked costco better because of a few items but because the nearest one to me is in NJ (I think) we belong to bjs, which I've gotten used to and like.

We just got a BJ's membership & I think that Costco maybe had more. When we re-do our kitchen & start buying more heavily in bulk, I think we might go back to Costco.

We had both and then last year renewed only the BJ's membership. I love that they take manufacturers coupons and there is never a line. You can pay any way you want too.
