Re: NEED HELP!!

It's very easy..don't worry.

Is it a prefilled syringe or do you have to mix the powder?

Re: NEED HELP!!

Ok, take the prefilled syringe out of the package and tap the "tube" to make sure there is no bubble in it, tapping it will make the bubble go to the top. You should hold it with the needle pointed up.

If there is a bubble, very gently push on the plunger to push the air bubble out, be very careful doing this, you don't want to push out the hcg.

get an alcohol swab or some alcohol and a cotton ball. On your stomach, maybe an inch or so to the left or right of your navel, swab it with alcohol. Pinch the skin. Insert the needle gently into the skin at a 90degree angle, meaning it should be parallel with the floor. (it does not go into the muscle). gently push on the plunger. Leave it for about 30 seconds after all the drug was injected. Withdraw the needle, wipe the site with alcohol.

Make sure not to throw the needle in the garbage. It may have come with a sharps container.

Re: NEED HELP!!

yes, it must go all the way in. It's not really that bad.

Is it Ovidrel? it should be a small short needle, it goes in very easily.

I HATE needles and was having a panic attack about sticking myself with one. I ended up putting some ice on before hand and it actually wasnt that bad. I thought I was going to have to force it in, but it went in very smoothly. Thanks again!! Chat Icon
