Another little update on me..

No, it's not a BFP story..I wish.

I switched RE's in May. Just felt it was time to get a different pair of hands on me (no pun intended ).

DH's DNA fragmentation came back abnormal, and he's now on Pycnogenol and finished two weeks of Cithromax. My bloodwork came back all normal, with the acception of my insulin levels which were high. Although I'm not a classic case of PCOS I was placed on Metformin this week. OMG...I DO NOT LIKE IT ONE BIT!! Side effect..yikes! I've been living in the bathroom for the past two days and am seriously considering getting a pack of Depends. I'm afraid of an "accident" at work.

Of course, we believe that God can do anything so just waiting for AF NOT to show up this week , but if she does, I'll go in for my CD3 testing to do my first IUI with my new RE.

So that's it for now.

I'm going to be 40 on Saturday so this is all taking it's toll on me mentally and emotionally. I've decided that if I'm not PG by the end of the year, I'm not going to pursue IF treatments any longer. IVF is not an option, nor will it ever be, unfortunately, so I'll do as many IUI's I have too for the next few months.

Who knows, maybe all of the vitamins/supplements and now the Poops medicine will all do the trick!!

Hopefully the change to a new RE will be just what you need!

I'm sorry that the Metformin is such torture. I'm starting Endometrin this week and am dreading it.

Suzy, just keep plugging away. Dr. B is fixing your issues...and I know its a tough pill to swallow...thinking about NOT cycling anymore if you're not pg by year's end...but you still have a full 6 months, baby. SIX MONTHS. Just hang on to that. You'll be fine. If you need me, I'm here

Thank you all. You will never know how much encouragement I get from this board and all of you ladies.

I'm soooo sick right now that I'm home. Nice, right. Just waiting for AF to show up, to start another IUI cycle, but when I'm sick, AF seems to take her time so right now it's a waiting game.

Suzy --- after I had Ale, I was just so grateful that I swore I wouldn't do another IVF. Well here it is 2 years later - and yes, I am now 42 - and we are giving it a try.

Sometimes you have to throw caution to the wind and follow your heart.

I am hoping that you get pg on this cycle and you won't even have to think about the age thing.

It stinks, but it is just a number...
