Carribbean in the fall

Other than the ABC islands are there any other island hurricane-free weather in October/November. Anyone travel to Bahamas in these months?

We went to St. Thomas on our honeymoon in Oct. Prior to going, I was calling the resort once a week for weather reports bc I was paranoid about there being a hurricane. Turns out, it was just really humid. It rained for about 5 mins every afternoon but that was it.

The best part about travelling during hurricane season is that everything is EMPTY!! It was great, we felt like we had the whole hotel to ourselves.. never had to wait for a reservation, never had to fight for a chair at the pool or beach.... UGH! I want to go back!

I went on a cruise to the Bahamas in November once and it was cool and cloudy - and sometimes rainy. I've had friends go though and said they had a great time.

I wouldn't worry about hurricanes after Oct. 15th. Bahamas and Bermuda can be cool during the fall.

I keep hearing that the Bahamas is a bit chilly for the fall..

We honeymooned in St. Lucia in August. The locals told us that while a hurricane is possible, they're unlikely and for the most part the weather is beautiful all year round.
