"Keep running!"
DH and I went out for a run together this afternoon. He was about half a block ahead of me, and there were two parents and a six year old girl walking up the block. DH later told me that the girl looked at him and then spotted me behind him and said to her parents, "Look! A girl runner!" All I know is, when I passed them, the girl turned around and yelled at me in her most enthusiastic little voice, "KEEP RUNNING!"
It was the cutest thing ever. And for the rest of my run, whenever I got tired and thought about walking for a minute, I heard that little voice in my head. I love how she was so surprised that girls can run too. It was awesome.

That's what I love about running. I just started four months ago after about 10 years of regularly going to the gym. Stuff like this doesn't happen at the gym! I love being outside, saying hi to people I pass, getting waved at by people in cars, getting encouragement from kids in the street... I can't believe I put off running for so long, thinking it was too hard and that I could never do it. It took a few months, but I really love it!

Awww that is awesome! I love during the road races when they have little boy scouts and girl scouts handing out water and cheering you on. Makes you go faster!
