From NY to Tampa Florida?

Um...yes, when I was in college. My bf and I took the train to Orlando. DON'T DO IT! It is awful!!!! It is very uncomfortable and you are traveling with all types of people. I hated it when I was 20...there is no way that I could survive it over ten years later!!!

I've never done it, but my DH is an Amtrak guru and those long-distance trains are ALWAYS running extremely late. Like 3-4 hours late.
It just can't be worth it, it's expensive, long, and unreliable.
