November suggestions

I need some suggestions.....

My hubby will be turning 30 this November and i would like to surprise him with a couple of nights away.....

I would like to keep the $$ around 1500

the caribbean would be ideal, turks would be the ultimate....

and on the completely other side of the spectrum I am open to road trips too....

can you offer any suggestions??

Hi Jodee,

I checked some of my resources and Turks might be a bit of a stretch given your desired budget. You can get close to it in say a 3 1/2 star property, but it would not include meals, transfers, etc.

Another option you may want to consider is a November cruise. If you just want to get away for a couple of romantic days on the sea, Carnival has a 2-night "cruise to nowhere" out of NY in mid-November (13th I think). It's not going to be beach weather by any means, but it takes place on the Carnival Dream which is a pretty nice ship. Some dining, dancing... could be just what you are looking for :)

There is also a 5-night cruise to Bermuda in early November that would just fit into your budget. This would be on Royal Caribbeans' Explorer of the Seas, which is one of their mega ships with the mall-like Royal Promenade that runs down the center of the ship. Bermuda itself is a wonderful island well worth visiting if you have never been.
