Quick, I don't know if it's ok...
I completely misplaced our tax return from last year! I keep everything in a file folder, and I just assumed I put it in there, but between the wedding and moving last year, I don't know what I did with it, and all of our info is on my parents' computer. We have to go in a little bit to get our taxes done and he told us to bring last year's return. Is this going to screw us? I've never had anyone do our taxes before, so I don't know.

I think its just easier/quicker for them to take the basic info right off last years return rather than ask you repetitive questions. They also might have a service where they double check last years return for free to see if they can get you more $$. You shouldnt have a problem filing this years without it though.

Ok, good. I do, however, have our W-2s from last year, so at least I have SOMETHING. I'm such a scatter brain these days! Thanks again!

I think the only thing they might need from last year is if you paid any 2004 income tax in 2005, otherwise you should be ok.

Its easier to input like someone had said and to compare between your 04 and 05 return but it's not a big deal if you don't have it so I wouldnt worry about it.
