DH and I bought a house in EM in October 07. We really like it here. Close to everything but I still here crickets in my yard. I don't feel like there are "bad" neighborhoods, but IMO I like the areas south of Hempstead Tpke better. We don't have kids, but our neighbors are very happy with the schools.
