Please Keep Charlie in Your Prayers
My poor baby woke up this morning shaking and so not himself. He usually bounces off the bed in the morning and runs and grabs a toy to play with in bed before we all start the day.
Today he is shaking, lethargic, and couldn't even walk down the stairs, DH had to carry him down, he wouldn't eat, and he didn't even want to walk back inside after we took him out.
I got an emergency appointment for 11:30 and we are leaving shortly to head over but please keep my Charlie in your prayers. I am hoping that he ate something outside or something that didn't agree with him and it's not the Shar-Pei fever that they are prone to get. The only thing keeping me calm is that we have a vet that specializes in Shar Pei and she is the best possible person we can be taking him to.
It's killing us to see him this way.

We went thru the exact same thing with our dog 2 months ago. $300.00 dollars later and we still do not know what is was... but she is 100% fine now and that is all that matters.
I hope Charlie will be as well.

Thank you so much everyone! It turns out that he does have the shar-pei fever. His temp was 104.7 when we got to the doctor and she gave him a shot to lower it and some medicine for us to come home with to give him if it stays up.
We took his temp a little while ago and it's down to 103 so its headed in the right direction. We've got him set up in our bed with a fan on him and pillows all around him.
He's pretty miserable but he did drink some water when he came home so I am feeling encouraged.

oopss just saw your update! Glad you know what it is so that you can care of him! I'll continue to pray for Charlie! Poor little thing
