Yesterday all day I was having this pain (like a sharp "sticking" kind of pain) more on the right side, along with general mild cramping. This morning, I felt a gush and ran into the bathroom to find a brownish tinted CM (not much). I still have the pain every now and then.
According to the fertility calendars and calculators (not using OPKS yet), I should have O'd a week ago on the 7th. My cycles are generally 30 days but can go over a few before causing alarm.
Does this sound like I am O'ing now? I've never noticed any kind of pain except when I get my period. Or can this be implantation? We did plenty of BD'ing all of last week. Or am I just out of my mind and noticing things I've never noticed before?
I've only been TTC for a few weeks and I'm already driving myself (and my poor dh) crazy!
the sticking pain could be the corpus luteum. i get that every month that i O. it's a cyst that forms in the spot where the follicle on your ovary releases the egg. it produces hormones, including progesterone, that the fertilized embryo needs until the placenta develops and starts producing progesterone on its own. i can always tell which side i O'd on because of the pains i get from that cyst.
as for the CM and the brown tint, i get that occasionally even when i am not PG. i think it's just leftover "stuff" from ovulation. but accompanied by the CM, it could be implantation. you never know!!
I had more brownish stuff today with FMU (when I wiped and a little on my underwear). DH and I BD'd yesterday in case I'm just a late O'er, but I am really praying it was implantation!
I test in 6 days....this wait can't go any slower!
And if this is not our month, then I am definitely using OPK's next month!
