I'd like to take a trip to Canada this summer -- any recommendations of things to do/places to visit/hotels to stay in Toronto?

I've been to Toronto a few times and like it very much - it reminds me a lot of NY.
For the life of me I can't remember the hotel I stayed in last time (I was there for a conference) but there was a pool with a waterslide that actually went outside the hotel. It was for kids but I still went on it!
There is a great Shoe Museum in Toronto. The waterfront area is fun, the theatres are nice.
Personally, I prefer Quebec to Toronto - it's so beautiful and charming - but Toronto is great too!
