toronto Canada
has any one been there ??
I am thinking of going spring of 08 so far I hear the things to see is the CN tower and a castle ( for got the name) then I wanted to go to Niagra falls on the way home Can any one recomend what to see, what not to see and where to stay?

We went Labor Day weekend '04. We live in Chicago and drove the 9 hours there. It was really nice. Toronto is such a nice city, very diverse much to my surprise. We stayed at a Hilton Hotel (one with Ruth Chris' SteakHouse in it). It was a really nice hotel, very modern/stylish.
I know the castle you are talking about but don't remember the name. Definitely take one of the boat cruises to the islands off the coast.
We took one day and drove to Niagra Falls, it took 1.5 hrs each way.

My SIL just got back from Toronto last night. She went there to go visit a friend. Said it's beautiful there...

Haven't been - I've visited Ontario and Montreal - but Toronto looks beautiful. I believe the castle is Casa Loma...there was a blurb about Toronto in my travel magazine a couple of months back.
