We are so bad with that BUT, we are getting better. We feed our Shih Tzu's white rice with chicken and cheese (very little) as their meal everyday. They also get a little of whatever else we are eating. They hate veggies. Won't touch them. They love pasta, bacon, icecream and cheese. I'm minimal with the bacon b/c it's hard to digest. Our big lab will eat anything we give him. But, we cut back b/c he was packing on weight. I would never feed them "fast food" though and we eat generally healthy.
I don't see the harm in moderation and as long as they don't sit at your feet begging for it why not?

Yes I am. I'm horrible sometimes..I give her scraps a lot of the time and also little things as well!

Not really - just stuff the Vet recommends is good for her. She gets raw baby carrots, apple slices w/o the skin, rice cakes with organic peanut butter, organic american cheese, eggs (scrambled), we like to put a little bit of extra virgin olive oil in her dry food -- it helps her coat stay shiny/healthy.

No human food for our Viva with the exception of:
- peanut butter or cream cheese when she has to take pills and won't eat them plain (we coat them in PB or CC)
- McDonald's french fries  My friend gives her Lab McD's FF and I was like HUH? But turns out my Viva LOVES them too!!!! That's the only people food we give her.

we do, sometimes we give our dogs the scrap leftover from dinner (nothing if its greasy though), they also like the lick an ice cream bowl. However, when they 'help themselves' it's whatever they can get their paws on
