Please recommend some trees
I am looking for trees that would mature to 15-20 feet max.
Mostly for "privacy" from my neighboors during the Summer time.
But I don't want to wait 20 years for them to mature.
I am looking for 5 years.
I am not finding any luck finding trees that meet my criteria.
Any suggestions?

I know they have quick growing hemlock tree's but they are expensive if you get the medium size tree's.

I'm looking for the same thing! I am liking the Japanese Red Maple trees. They grow 15-20 feet max and the leaves are a deep red color and the leaves almost look like hands!

I like them but they take a very long time to grow.

Leyland Cypress--grows 3-4 ft per year, very fast growing and will form a privacy hedge if that's what you are looking for....

Re: Please recommend some trees
My neighbor has the Leyland Cypress. They are nice to look at and have grown ALOT since we moved in 10 months ago.
I don't know if this is true but I asked around and was told they are prone to disease so you really have to take care of them.

Forget what I said, this is what I was thinking of. I don't know why I thought it was a Hemlock.

Re: Please recommend some trees
Weeping willows grow quickly and they are great for moist yards.
My weeping cherry and weeping ***** willow also appear to be fast growers

Re: Please recommend some trees
Thanks!
Very helpful website!
It looks like a craple myrtle or dogwood might meet my crateria.
I will look at hardiness in my area.
I also like the cypress but I remember DH hates those trees.
