sorry if this seems obvious
But what is an unmedicated IUI(does that mean no clomid or letrazol and no trigger) and why would that be done over a "regular" IUI?

Exactly, no meds given to the woman. It may be beneficial when a couple is dealing with male factor or unexplained IF, so long as the woman ovulates on her own. HTH.

It might be helpful if the woman has hostile CM...meaning everything else if normal, but a Post-Coital test shows that the cervical mucus is killing the sperm. The IUI bypasses CM and gets the sperm into the uterus.
