AF finally showed up.... RE question

After being almost a week late, AF finally came this morning. My first appt with the RE is Monday. Since I will be early on in my cycle, do you think he will take advatage and do the CD3 bllodwork or wait for the first set if test results from that day to come in?
Also, do you think he will automatically start me on Clomid or something or again, would he wait to see what is going on? I know I am going to have a transvaginal sono that day. I am 38 and haven't had any "problems" with my cycle. I am O'ing and, other than this month and a huge amount of stress, my cycles are regular.

It's very possible that they'll do the CD3 blood that day. The dr may wait to start u on Clomid until after all of your test results come back....but u never know.

I have no clue what they'll do!

They will probably want to run a bunch of tests before they start you on anything though.

Hopefully you can get your CD 3 b/w and SA out of the way and get geared up to start treatment next cycle!

I think it depends on the RE. My RE would not do any sort of treatment until all my initial bloodwork results came back and DH's SA results came back. I was actually in the process of O'ing at my first RE appointment and he would not do an IUI.

I think it depends on the doctor. Mine wants to wait for all the tests to be done and then we will review them and make a plan. You never know. I think for sure they would do CD3 bloodwork if the time was right. Good Luck and let us know how it goes!!

If it is CD3 they may take advantage. You could always call and let them know what CD you are. They may do one month of testing and then begin you on Clomid next month.
