$30k (in 2000)... I remember my dad was so proud of me and told all our relatives ( ).. this is a man who makes 6 figures lol...

now, I think about it, I can't believe I was paid that low! I left that job after about 3 months.

ETA: I wasn't even eligible for insurance till after 3 months of employment! I left and found another job that paid much better and had insurance from day 1

Started at $32k, but within 6 months got offered a different position (same field) at $45k. That is in HR.

When I started here at my job in 1999 I was making 25k a year and somehow moved out with my sister to Long Beach. It was hard because over half of one paycheck went to commuting and two checks went to rent...and I work in an industry where appearances are supposed to be "cool" Well, I gave up on that a long time ago...my cool was Old Navy and H&M (CHEAP )

I started at $28K but left that job after only 2 months. I left for a job making $33K, which I consider my first real job.
Believe it or not, I made more money waitressing during college

In 1999 I made $21,350!!!! I dont know how I did it. I used to have $40 "spending money" after my bills to last me 2 weeks!
