new orleans in august???
i was thinking of going there but from what i hear the heat and humidity are pretty brutal. does anyone have any first-hand experience with this they could share??? TIA!!

I went to New Orleans in August a few years back. It is extremely hot and humid. If you like that type of weather you will be fine but if you don't I would advise going another time of year.

We went to New Orleans in August years ago. It was REALLY hot. Go if you want, but just be prepared to sweat.
