Over 35

Anyone on here 35 or over TTC ?
DH and not ready yet but, I would like to know what to expect and what I should do now in order to prepare myself for when we are ready.

I am over 35. We are trying for our fist also. DH and I are on our 5th month. I have been taking prenatals for a few months. I did have bloodwork done to make sure I was ovulating after coming off BCP. All was fine. But if this isn't our month, I am going to the dr. next month to have the full spectrum of tests done on me and DH. They say after 6 months if you still aren't PG, that is the marker to see what is going on.

I'm 35 trying for our second DC. We've been trying for about 8 months ( only 3 of them really trying). I went to the doctor this week and if I don't get pregnant this month, I'll try clomid. If it doesn't work at the year mark we'll go see a specialist.

ME! over here! I'm over 35. I got pg. and had a mc. Went to an RE and had every test in the book. They determined that my eggs were the quality of a 23 year old.....its not so much age, but a lot of other factors. THere are 25 year olds who are out of shape and don't take care of themselves and have fertility problems. Genetics plays a part, too.
Same thing for everyone....just once you get pg, you do extra testing.
