Next steps?

I just need a reailty check. We are dealing w/ mild MF - so we could still maybe (a big maybe) get PG on our own - but it has been 18 months and 3 unsuccessful clomid iuis. We took a 2 month break from docs and nothing. I've never had a CD21 progesterone test - I asked they do one this time around. I'm 99% sure I'm going in tomorrow for CD3 b/w and sono for another clomid iui cycle. I asked about a nonmedicated cycle, but he said for us it would be the same odds as BDing. So I'm going to do it. I guess my reality check is - I'm wondering if I should have the progesterone check and then do another iui cycle? I want to just move forward and I'll probly just start the cycle - I guess my thoughts are coming from DH who still hates that we're doing this (welcome to the club). How do you deal with that? Guess this is a two part question:)

Re: Next steps?

I'm just curious, if you have MF...what kind of MF is it? Have you considered IVF at all?

DH has vericeles and has a decent count (but not great), and slightly low motility and morph. His numbers are okay, just not great. The RE thinks iui should work for us - he said we could do another 3 before moving on.

Re: Next steps?

Well, as long as the RE thinks IUIs will work, I say go for it. I just have seen others with MF end up going to IVF, but if your situation isn't severe, then definitely its the way to go.

Its tough getting DH on board sometimes, but really...there portion isn't all that tough Chat Icon Its more getting yourself motivated through it, KWIM?

What about doing injectables? Have you discussed that at all with your doctors. I feel like it's basically the next step between Clomid/IUI and IVF... KWIM?

We have discussed injectibles - he said since clmoid is working there's no need to switch to injectibles. I ovulate on my own - this just gives us more and bigger eggs as targets.
