switching RE's
I am thinking about switching RE's....if I decide to switch does the old office just send the records to the dr? I don't have to go through all that testing again do I?

Re: switching RE's
I got copies of my records from my doctor's office. My doctor wanted lots more testing and since my tests were over a year old, he did some stuff over again himself.

Re: switching RE's
You should get a copy (and they should not charge you but plan that it could take 2wks to get the info). Keep a copy and make one for the new RE. I've changed 3 times. Some RE's do further testing and some things need to be done annually. But, they should be able to use what you have so far. I like to look over my records and keep them.
Good luck.

Re: switching RE's
I got my records on my own, but had to pay about $70 for them.

Re: switching RE's
I got the records sent to me directly (no charge) and made the new RE make copies so I still have my original set.
