Northern OBGYN- Dr. Fried

Any experience with Dr. Fried or the practice? I am having a difficult time finding an OBGYN and appreciate everyone's assistance

i am SO mad that i had to leave her but her office didn't take my new insurance.

i go to this practice and i absolutely looooove dr. chung. however, dr fried is supposed to be really good too and hard to get an appt with. i saw her once and liked her alot. i would stick with fried or chung. others...hmm..eh, i can do without

eta: dh and i only wanted her to deliver our DS b/c she really took care of me. happened she did b/c we ended up in the hospital when she was on call in the hospital.

I go to Dr. Fried thru a recommendation from work and i do med mal defense i went once so far and absolutely love her! She not only seems like a good doctor but she is very personable which i like! I had a gyn in the city since i was 18 before her and although he was great, he is no longer an ob and i also wanted to go to someone closer to home

What happens if one of those other doctors are on call when you are delivering though

What happens if one of those other doctors are on call when you are delivering though

well, i wouldn't mind but we really wanted her. of course, it's not something they can accommodate. just happened she was on call.

i'm not saying that the others are not good. just that i saw her mostly thru out my pregnancy and i had some "issues" and felt most comfy with her.

i should mentioned that i only see females so i shouldn't really judge on the male doctors there. however, i did see both of them 1-2x.

I am the same way I only want a female. I know that I dont have control over that when it comes to delivery but for now, since I am not pregnant yet, I want a female.

I just want to make sure the other doctors are good just in case they are on call when the time comes!

I love the practice, my usual doctor is Dr. Krim but I've met them all and really like Dr. Fried.

They are a busy practice and as with any good OB-GYN there are sometimes long waits but IMO it's worth it.
