Barbados??
Has anyone been there? If so did you like it would you go back, where did you stay? I am looking for a vacation for July and we were thinking a cruise but the places they go we went to already. If not Barbados can you recommend someplace else, tropical, quiet, and relaxing. TIA

DH and I went there in 2006. It's a beautiful country. Great beaches, wonderful restaurants and really nice people.
We stayed at the Colony Club which was very nice but probably wouldn't go there again. A bit to pricy for what it is we thought.

We also went in 2006 and stayed at the Hilton. It was just renovated and beautiful. Quick cab ride to The Gap which has tons of restaurants, shopping and bars. We loved it and would definitely go back to Barbados again.

we cruised there and loved it! i would go back in a heartbeat but i don't have any hotel suggestions for u---just wanted to let u know it's a great island!

I think it depends on where you stay and where on the Island you are. We didn't love Barbados but I think it had a lot to do with the place we stayed. I would avoid Almond resorts but if you are doing a cruise that might be nice... not sure where they go.
We *LOVED* Jamaica and would go back there in a second.
